About Us

Founded in 1976, Naji Beidoun Advocates & Legal Consultants (NBALC) is now managed by Ms. Claire Grainger as Senior Partner and head of Corporate/Commercial with Ms. Fairouz Addeen as Legal Director and head of litigation.

NBALC is a UAE-based law firm, specialising in the areas of constructions, infrastructure, technology and property, providing advice and representation to corporate, government and individuals clients with respect to drafting and negotiating contracts, corporate structuring for new projects and dispute resolutions. As NBALC represents a range of clients within the market, this ensures that the team keep up-to-date with terms that are currently being disputed in arbitration/litigation and thus pass on this knowledge into drafting and negotiating new contracts.

NBALC’s goal was to create a boutique firm catering to the needs of a few select clients within the firm’s chosen industry sector. All of the professionals working within NBALC have been selected for their experience appropriate to the industry and the region and importantly the ability to communicate in the mother tongue of that region. NBALC aims to provide uncompromisingly high-quality legal advice to companies, financial institutions, individuals, insurers and international service providers, including law firms, among others in:

  • Structuring, re-structuring, documenting, negotiating and consummating business transactions in the UAE and the MENA regions;
  • Resolving disputes in a responsive and business-friendly manner; and
  • Advising on and implementing the best corporate structure to suit the client’s business needs and their intended customer needs.

Our team of highly experienced, internationally qualified lawyers have extensive local and international knowhow in the fields of:

  • Infrastructure Projects (Water, Power, Energy, Transport and District Cooling)
  • Projects and Construction
  • Project Finance
  • Corporate Law

  • Islamic Finance

At Naji Beidoun we serve blue-chip companies with local and international interests, local family-run businesses, and private individuals.

As well as providing comprehensive legal advice, we have the right to appear before all UAE courts and arbitration centres.
